"I have 8 to 10 weeks left to get the transplant done" OJB Jezreel says

OJB Jezreel gave an interview to Encomium magazine yesterday Monday June 24th where he said he has about eight weeks left to get his operation done. Excerpts...

"When early diagnosis was done, it was just a case of renal failure. Right now, my two kidneys are gone. We are running dialysis at the moment. It started two years ago, but gradually depreciated. Most people tend to attribute kidney problem to drinking and smoking. I was told it doesn't have anything to do with that, because as much as I drink and smoke then, it was casual drinking. Maybe they offer you a bottle of drink and all that but not like I drink 15 bottles a day. I have a friend who has gone through this and he never drank or smoked.
"The whole process of the treatment from pre-process, transplanting process and post-transplanting will cost about $100, 000. In two years I have spent up to N5million which I have been trying to maintain myself. That is why it has been kept secret."
"God willing, I have like eight to ten weeks more to get the transplant done. It's strange, I still walk around a little. I can't eat much though. I trust God and Nigerians for their financial support"

BEVERLEY OSU'S MOUTH A-RUNNING- USED TO BE A RUNS GIRL, ABORTED .....................

We have all come to know Bev-the babe since she got into the house, the Big Brother House we mean. And since she's come into our space, it's been revelations after revelations. She seem incapable of stopping herself from running her own mouth. Firstly, a good one at that, she said she had to get got out of an abusive relationship, where her partner who she was supposedly engaged to made use of her as a punching bag. We don't know how many she's been engaged to except for 2-Shotz the famous musician. So one can begin to imagine the insinuations.

Now again, Bev- The Babe has dropped some more bombshells. It's either these revelations are part of her strategies or that the Big Brother House is therapeutic for her, so its the opportunity to let off steam. First she's said to have revealed that she & some others were into ''RUNS'', an avowed runz gal, which is another word for prostit"£$ on a small scale, if ever there's anything like that. She's said to have further revealed that she once aborted a 4 months pregnancy. Staggering revelation on cable network we believe.

Such revelations to a worldwide audience we believe might either endear her to many and therefore get her great support or it might just piss people off and they vote her out quickly, before she rubbishes herself/her country or some other people the more on live television.

Anyways, it seems like her strategy might still be working. While we don't personally believe that being a blabbermouth or better still a basketmouth is essential to winning at the BBH, we might just be wrong and the strategy might just even be a winning one.

Photos Of The Girl With Three Breasts..View More

She has a condition known as having an accessory chest.

Accessory breasts, also known as polymastia, supernumerary breasts, multiple chest syndrome, or mammae erraticae, is the condition of having additional breasts. Extra breasts may appear with or without bosoms or areolae. It is a condition and a form of atavism which is most prevalent in male humans, and often goes untreated as it is mostly harmless. In recent years, many affected women have had a plastic surgery operation to remove the additional breasts, for purely aesthetic reasons.

Actress Stephanie Okereke Clears the Air on Her Pregnancy and Marriage how it all went...

One of the most successful Nollywood Actress speaks out....

It’s been more than a year since and hubby Linus tied the knots grand style in France. Here’s what she told the reporters about the rumours that swirled in December that she was pregnant.
She also shared why she and her husband chose to wed in France.
Sometime in December, Rumors swirled that you were pregnant. How did you take this?
Stephanie: It’s a good thing. That means they (Nigerians) are praying for me to pop out the little ones. Yeah, the little ones are coming soon, but you know, everything is in God’s hands and I’ll have a baby when I’m supposed to have a baby. I am definitely not under any kind of pressure. We wish for it to happen and of course it’s going to happen.

Why did you choose to have your wedding in Paris?
Stephanie: We just wanted something different. If it was in Nigeria, it would have been a real carnival but we wanted something serene. The love is a little bit sweeter in Paris, you know it can be hard in Nigeria (laughs). He feels he is a King and I’m a Queen, that is what we call ourselves, and we wanted to have this whole royal thingy going and we knew that we wouldn’t get that serenity in Lagos. We also wanted our families to bond, we wanted our parents to experience something new, to travel and relax. It was special to us and we wanted everyone around us to have special memories. We wanted something spiritual and divine. Not like we couldn’t get it here, but we wanted something to look back at with joy. We wanted to do us.
Despite the fact that it was a destination wedding, you had a good number of family and friends from Nigeria join you.
Stephanie: It was just God showing himself. We told God that we wanted to get married in Paris and He should give us a sign if we should do Paris. And He gave us a sign. Arik Air donated one full return flight to us at no cost. Also, Air France gave us good discounts on tickets and the Embassy was really helpful with visas. It’s the grace of God that gets us things like that.

we wish her well...........

Policemen Accused of Complicity in Bariga Cult Killing

Alleged cultists on Sunday stabbed one Osondu Boobu, 25, to death in Bariga. The incident happened at the Famous Bus Stop in the Pedro area of Bariga local government council in Lagos.
According to an eye witness, who requested anonymity for fear of reprisals, Osondu left his home at about 7.30 p.m. and got to Famous Hotel at 8 p.m. The young man, who resided with his parents at 30 Ayinke Street, is said to have died from stab wounds at around 10 p.m.

“When he (Osondu) entered the bar, he met some members of the Eiye confraternity, who asked him for money. His refusal to give them money infuriated them and they accused him of being a member of Aiye, a rival cult, claiming to have seen him sitting with members of the Aiye at Ladylak area of the estate.

“The Eiye cult members namely Bonjeu, Arinze, Ahmed and one Feso, Ayo and Akilapa, were all in the hotel bar. They stabbed him (Osondu) many times and he ran away from the hotel to get help (sic).

“There were two police officers at the scene of the stabbing with the Famous Hotel manager Yinka, who also has a bird tattooed on his arm. The policemen, one Owolabi and a Corporal Sanni – formerly with the Pedro Police Station and now of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), were together with the cultists when the incident happened,” said the witness.

The eyewitness added that the bleeding Osondu ran outside the hotel, and was able to get assistance from a tricycle rider who took him to the Ladylak Hospital where he was rejected and referred to the General Hospital at Somolu.

“On their way back (from Ladylak Hospital), Corporal Sanni stopped the tricycle driver and asked that the bleeding Osondu be brought down from the Keke Napep (tricycle taxis) at the Famous Bus Stop. He now ordered that they go and call his mother to come and carry her son as he has denied him urgent medicare. Before the mother could come to the scene to take him away, Osondu died,” the witness explained.

Rising spate of cult activities

Residents of the Somolu area say they are worried about rising incidents of cult killing in the area.

A resident who simply gave his name as Jimoh said: “For some time now, places like the Arena Club at Jibowu have been known as hideouts of the Eiye cultists as the Arena is to Aye. The manager is a member and some policemen, notably Owolabi and Pepper have been accused of being members of the Eiye group and are always supporting them.”

This morning, as sympathisers gathered to mourn Osondu’s death, policemen came to dislodge them, firing shots in the air. In the ensuing confusion, it was reported that a boy hit his head against a wall and died on the spot.

How Five South African Policemen Brutally Beat A Nigerian To Faint, Wake Him Then Tortue Him Again To Death

Five Limpopo police officers beat a Nigerian man to death, the Polokwane Magistrate's Court heard on Thursday.
put it to you that you beat him, he fainted and you resuscitated him. He woke up and... you beat him again," prosecutor Jacky Mabasa told the jury in court

"You also sprinkled water on him."

The five, Boitumelo Ramahlala, Mashiba Mathata, Collins Sekoati, Thabo Mabotja and Clement Tsotsane, face murder and assault charges. They were applying for bail.

They are accused of beating Onyechiabi Iwuaka to death on May 21 while he was visiting a friend. His friend escaped the assault. Iwuaka died on the way to the Polokwane police station.

The court was told the officers stopped on the way to the police station to buy water, as Iwuaka was bleeding from his ears.

Mabasa said an ambulance was called for Iwuaka after he died.

"The reason you cannot tell me specifically what you did that day is because you assaulted him. That's why you cannot tell what you did," Mabasa said.

The court was told Iwuaka was merely in his friend's home, and was the wrong person to be arrested.

The five evaded questions, and said they never accused or hurt anyone. This prompted magistrate Janine Ungerer to question if they shared the same holding cell. She suspected they had coached each other on how to respond to questions.

The bail application was postponed to Monday.

SHOCKING: 5-Year-Old Girl Raped By Her Kindergarten Classmates, Describes How It Happened

A mother in the Highlands School District claims her 5-year-old daughter was sexually assaulted by two kindergarten classmates in the cafeteria at Fawn Primary Center.

The girl and family are not being identified because the child is the alleged victim of a sex crime.

“This whole situation has me completely sick,” the mother said.

The girl told her mother that on Thursday; the boys put their hands down the back and front of her pants.

The family immediately went to police and then to Children’s Hospital where the medical team examined the little girl using its child abuse protocol.

The mother went on to say, “All of this could have been prevented and my daughter would not have had to go through what she went through, and I want someone held responsible. They thought she was going to have to have a rape kit done yesterday. My 5-year-old daughter should never had had to have that done.

A district spokesperson gave says:
“Highlands School District administration is aware of the allegations and is working with local authorities regarding the investigation. The district cannot comment on this ongoing legal matter.” hmmm nawa for Niaja

Doctor Mutilates Baby’s Corpse, Removes Eyes, Tongue & Private Part

The Ogun State Police Command, Sunday, said it has arrested one Dr. Babawale Joshua who owned Ajike Medical Centre at 11, Adeyemi Street, Saka, Sango Ota, for suspected ritual activities and disrespect to the corpse of a 13-month-old baby who died in his hospital.
According the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, for the state, Mr Muyiwa Ogunjobi, the police discovered that the boy’s corpse was mutilated. He told Vanguard that the eyes, tongue, two lips, two ears, private part, nails and the left hand and veins were cut off at the hospital.

Father’s account

In his account of what happened, the child’s father, identified as Obinna Oleh, a 35-year-old auto spare part dealer at Ladipo market, from Umunze village in AnambraState, said: “On Friday the 7th of June, my child took ill, my wife joined me to rush him to the hospital.

“The next day, being Saturday, I came to see them at the hospital in the morning before going to my shop while the child was actually getting better then.

“It was with this hope that I left for my shop thinking that at least before the end of the day, the child would have recovered fully.

“But in the afternoon, my wife called to inform me that the baby’s health had deteriorated, that I should rush home. When I got here, I met my child in a very critical condition.

“I asked if any medication had been administered on him and my wife told me that the doctor gave him an injection that afternoon and that the child’s stomach swelled after the injection.

“The baby was practically abandoned by the hospital management in this condition until around 8p.m when he finally died.

“As we attempted to carry the corpse, the nurse in charge said we had to clear our bills before we could take the body away. She also said she needed to call the Medical Director for the full amount we were to balance before they could release the corpse to us.

“Mind you, we were not owing them before the baby died. We made some initial deposit prior to the baby’s admission and treatment. So when the nurse came up with the balance payment issue, I was not in the mood to argue that with them. I took my wife and we left, with the intention of returning yesterday morning to clear what ever bill there was, and take our child for burial.

“Also our pastor advised us to get a death certificate first before taking the corpse away for burial, so that we don’t encounter any problems with the police.

“We also needed to inform our kinsmen here about what happened. These were the reasons why we left the body of our baby at the hospital till the following morning.

“But yesterday morning, I was having a meeting with my brothers on how to get a doctor’s report on my child’s death when the nurse called me to come over to the hospital, that it’s like they used a spiritual arrow to kill my child. I asked her what she meant by that. And at same time, followed her to the room where the body was.

“I was shocked to the bones to find my child’s body in a gory state. His ears were cut off, his private part, his tongue, his lips, and his eyes were plucked out. I am yet to recover from the shock of that sight. The police was informed and they came and took the body away.”

Meantime, when Vanguard visited the hospital, yesterday, it was under lock and key, having been shut by the police who confirmed the development

"My Mother Passed On Her Hips To Me With Vengeance" – Omotola

TIME Icon and actress, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde said in a recent interview with Encomium, that she inherited her physical endowment from her mother and how it’s been a struggle for her to stay slim as her job requires.

Excerpt:
Omotola: There is no major secret. That’s the truth. Most of them were inherited. I inherited the good stuff, so also the bad one. If you see my mom’s picture, she actually looked like a young girl. Till she passed on, we used to call her forever young, even before that song came out.

My mom had a teenager look, even when she was almost 50. She was a very hippy and curvy woman. That, she passed on to me with vengeance. That’s why it has been a very big struggle for me to stay as slim as my job requires.

But people are saying you had done an implant that perhaps brought out you hips

Omotola: I have also heard that but there is nothing like that. I have never done any surgery or implant. It’s just me being extremely careful and conscious of my body, job and everything. Naturally, as a human being, sometimes i get it perfectly right, sometimes, the body just does what it wants to do. I just keep trying.

Man beheaded in broad day light in Woolwich, South London

A man, believed to be a serving soldier, was attacked and beheaded with a machete in broad day light this afternoon in Woolwich, South London by two men in what is suspected to be a terror attack.

The soldier was attacked with knives and meat cleavers following a car crash. Two black men in a blue Vauxhall car rammed into the soldier on John Wilson Street, then jumped out of their car and started attacking him with meat cleavers. An eye witness said the attackers were "chopping this guy to pieces, literally hacking at something like it was a piece of meat".

It is claimed that the men shouted 'Allahu Akbar', which means God is great in Arabic before attacking. After the attack, the men then waited for about 20 minutes for police to show up and then tried to attack the officers. They were shot by police. One (or both) of them is believed to be alive.

ICT Can Be Used In Tackling Insecurity – NCS

President of Nigerian Computer Society, NCS, Sir. Demola Aladekomo has warned that the fight against terrorism and other acts of insecurity may be long-drawn, unless information technology, education, employment creation were given urgent attention in governance.
Speaking last week in Lagos during a press conference to announce the 2013 edition of NCS International Conference slated to hold in Osun State next July, the NCS President noted that e-government and national security as the theme of this year’s conference was borne out of the need to highlight the relevance of IT to governance and national security to ensure real, all-inclusive development and transformation of governance through IT, while overcoming the menace of insecurity bedevilling the nation.
Alademoko said if terrorists who are majorly youths were gainfully engaged through IT, the situation can be better managed.
“Let us engage the jobless youth population. There is no better time than now. Let us build IT parks around the nation where youths can be engaged. Let us empower the youths with IT tools and knowledge which will go a long a long way in preparing them for the global market.
“You will agree with me that the recent declaration of State of Emergency in three states in the country by the President, due to insecurity challenges in those states made this theme all the more compelling.”
Demola Aladekomo
One way to describe e-government is the application of ICT to strengthen governance — the use of ICTs in the operations and performance improvement of public sector organisations. It also means the use of ICT to achieve better stakeholders’ engagement.
“When carefully designed and diligently implemented, e-government tackles the problems of poverty, disease, unemployment and hunger. E-government strategies that work facilitate both public sector and private sector development.
“The protection of life and property is the major function and responsibility of any government. All over the world, no nation is excluded from the challenges of insecurity. Murder, armed robbery, terrorism, cultism and other crimes abound despite the best efforts of security and law enforcement agencies.
“A more proactive IT-led approach to combating this menace is needed in a country like ours. It is our considered view that no organisation is better suited than the NCS to chart the way forward in this regard.
“NCS has diligently over the past few months canvassed the use of ICT towards resolving the issues of security in our Country. We call on the Federal government to engage NCS towards contributing in resolving this massive issue. Once this is done youth empowerment and employment will follow” he explained.
The annual conference which addresses critical national and global IT issues and concerns, attracts practitioners, decision makers, policy makers and professionals from Nigeria and all over the World.
